Hedychium coccineum Slims Orange Chamaecyparis It was seen by plantsmanHedychium coccineum 'Slim's Orange' is a wonderful dwarf ginger that makes a fast growing clump to only 3' tall I guess it should have been named 'Slim's Fast'. We're getting warmer in tracking down its origin. Dale Batchelor of Raleigh ordered it from Florida and lost track of the name, later naming it after her gardening uncle, Slim Ruddell.
