It has an intoxicating palate of blackberry jam, savory spice, cherry liqueur and candied violets with tons of minerality and structure in the background. Tannins are super youthful and present. The finish is super long and savory. The combination of poor granitic soil and 90% whole cluster fermentation make for a full, rich, expressing the fullness of Syrah.
