A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, by Arbeitsgemeinschaft Metall und Kunststoff consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Naval General Servce Medal(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a central oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, situated over a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four rays and oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with an integral hinge and fluted banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, designer marked W.
