The cross has been redone a few times with different veitchii male parents and most of the progeny have been outstanding

A cross between the extremely vigorous Maggie Jones (kampotiana x ventricosa) and a wide widely flared {(rokko x boschiana) x [rokko x (fusca x spectabilis)] x TM]} which we gave the nickname "Redonkulas"

Many growers have success keeping them in pools of floating sphaghnum moss

When the plants are young, the developing leaves are a pale porcelain which darken to green over time. As the plant matures, leaves open a gorgeous chocolate color and then darken to a forest green. We've found "lux" to be a slow but steady grower that stays relatively compact and flowers at a fairly small size. This product is considered an Intermediate Tropical plant. Please see our
