Instituted 16 September 1886 by Duke Ernst I. (1895 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Shamrock Cross, the obverse with a central raised number 30, circumscribed by an inscription of FR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT (FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR), the reverse with a central raised monogram of Duke Ernst I, unmarked, measuring 44. 30 mm (w) x 47. 85 mm
